Mononucleosis – Otherwise known as “mono” Not necessarily the kissing disease. Here is a great example of why parents teach their children to not share drinks, wash your hands, and cover your cough or sneeze. However, more of us than we know have been exposed to or have even had mono with out even knowing it.

It has similar symptoms to the flu, but in many cases comes with a pain on the left side. Spleen. Mono as well as many other viral diseases must run its course. Here are some suggestions to help heal faster.

Get plenty of rest, drink plenty of distilled water, eat at least a 50% raw fruit and vegetable diet. Gargle with a warm glass of salt water to relieve a sore throat. Take colloidal silver, and or Echinacea, goldenseal to enhance the immune system, dandelion, and milk thistle to protect the liver. Someone with mono should remain in active as to not make the spleen rupture.

And, rather than suppressing a fever try adding some ginger root to a warm bath. This will promote sweating.
